If all is in order, allow approximately 4 weeks for an ID and 10 to 12 work days for a passport application.

All certificates are required to be ORIGINAL and UNABRIDGED.  They must not be laminated.

The new passport will be delivered by DHL courier to the address as given on your application.

For security reasons, the new passport is returned independently from your supporting documents.

They may arrive on the same day or a few days apart.

As the cost varies according to multiple factors, we will provide a quote at the time of your application.

Born before 2nd September, 1929 you are not required to pay for your passport.

No refund will be due if you cancel or if you have applied and it is established that you are not entitled to a passport.

Due to the high incidence of fraud in South Africa, Her Majesty’s passport office will only accept the VAULT copy of the registration of the applicants birth which is applied for from the Department of Home Affairs.  It is a stamped and signed copy of the original hand written form completed by the child’s parents or guardians when they originally registered the birth. 

If the unabridged, original birth certificate from Home Affairs was issued within a year of the child’s birth, a Vault copy of the birth will not be required.  The unabridged, original certificate will suffice.
